Nursery and Primary School

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

World Environment Day was celebrated on June 5th 2018 to develop awareness about protecting our environment.


CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES

Various classroom activities are conducted by the teachers throughout the year, to help children understand the subjects better.




LITERARY EVENTS

Some lessons in English and Social Science were presented by students in the form of role play. Students write English and Kannada poetry.




ELECTION

Election for the posts of Vice captains, Captains, Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Secretaries was held to elect the pupil leaders for the academic year 2018-19. Yoga classes are held regularly for all the classes.


High School

Kishora Kendra gives importance to co-curricular activities. This year on 7th July, inauguration of co-curricular activities was done by Mr. Srinidhi, Software Engineer and writer for the website “ejnana.com”. took place. He spoke about “Role of technology in today’s Education”.


ADITI NARASIMHAN (IX B)

Became the State Topper in Spell Bee competition held in our premises on 13/08/2017. She qualified for National Level competition held in December at Kolkata. She won a cash prize of Rs.3000/- along with a Gold Medal.

VIKAS DEVDAS KAMATH (X C)

Secured 4TH Rank, National Level in General Knowledge Competition conducted by Center for Human Resource Development.


ASHIRVAD (VIII A):

Secured 17TH Rank, National Level in General Knowledge Competition conducted by Center for Human Resource Development.



Nireeksha M, won ‘Pratibha Puraskara” Award for singing Bhavageethe in Pratibha karanji competition conducted by Women and Child Welfare Dept. Govt. of Karnataka.

Rushabh (X C) and Vishal Gowda IX B had their names entered in World Guinness records for roll ball skating continuously 24 hours.


INTRA CLASS COMPETITIONS:

Competitions among different classes in conducted in various categories like drawing & painting, quiz, collage, debate, music, dance, pick n speak & essay writing.
This is an annual feature to help children show their talent. The winners are honoured with medals and certificates.

TALENTS DAY

To welcome the children to high school and to know their talent, this event is organized only for VIII std students.

WALL MAGAZINES:

Students are divided into four houses Champak, Jasmine, Lotus and Rose in both primary and high school. Each house puts up a wall magazine where the students give their contributions in the form of articles, drawings, poems, jokes, riddles. The best magazine is awarded a shield in the Annual Day.

“REFLECTIONS” – SCHOOL MAGAZINE:

Primary and high school students contribute to the school magazine by writing articles, poems, riddles, essays. School activities conducted throughout the year are reflected in this magazine.
